I’m a senior solicitor with over 50 years’ experience advising clients across England & Wales and Gibraltar. I have built and led independent law firms in both jurisdictions and now practise as a consultant advising on complex property, private client and commercial matters.

My practice is centred on commercial and residential property, wills, probate and estate administration, corporate and transactional work, and dispute resolution.

I am particularly experienced in advising owner-managed businesses and private clients, often where matters involve a cross-border UK–Gibraltar dimension. I am known for my practical, commercially focused approach and for managing matters personally from instruction through to completion, with many client relationships spanning decades.

Legal Specialties

I advise on a broad range of matters, with a focus on commercial and residential property, wills, probate and estate administration, commercial transactions and SME advisory, corporate structuring and share sales, and civil and commercial disputes. A significant part of my work involves cross-border UK-Gibraltar matters.

Over the course of my career, I have founded and led a long-established UK firm in Birkenhead and a Gibraltar practice serving UK-connected clients. I have acted as a long-standing advisor to major UK LPG distributors and industry bodies, as well as to maritime professionals across major UK ports, and I have extensive experience supporting owner-managed businesses and private clients.

I now operate on a self-directed consultancy basis, providing senior-level input without the overhead and structure of a traditional firm, often working alongside other professionals where required. My approach is pragmatic and solution-focused, with particular strength in navigating complex or sensitive transactions where clear judgment and experience are critical.
