I am a General Counsel who helps clients navigate their various banking and financial services legal needs with experience working in large banks, start-ups and scale up organisations delivering transactional support, legal advice and implementing projects, policies and governance.

I began my career at Clifford Chance and Skadden working on capital markets and M&A deals from 1994-2003. I joined Citigroup’s legal team in 2003 and became a Director in the Investment Bank. Subsequently, I served as Bank GC at Close Brothers from 2010 and then as Head of Legal at Co-op Bank during its restructuring.

Since then, I have continued to work across financial services, including most recently with an asset manager in social impact investment. I have gained valuable experience as a non-executive Trustee with charity boards.

Legal Specialties

I am a banking and financial services lawyer and cover most aspects of debt finance whether lending or borrowing money, investments, regulatory/compliance and governance. I have experience in debt capital markets transactions and private M&A.

As a GC, I have been exposed to a wide array of other legal issues that require advice, guidance and responsibility.
