I am a highly experienced corporate, banking and finance lawyer with over three decades of advising on complex, cross-border transactions across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Now back in private practice at Arbor Law, I bring the breadth of a career that spans leading international law firms, global investment banks, senior in-house legal positions, and high-impact development projects. This diverse experience allows me to deliver strategic, commercially grounded advice to clients operating in fast-paced, often high-stakes environments.

Having also founded, built and successfully exited my own businesses, I offer clients practical insight into the operational and strategic realities of business growth, alongside robust legal support.

I began my legal career at Norton Rose, focusing on corporate finance and M&A, before joining UBS where I first worked as an investment banker and later led the bank’s independent derivatives legal team. I went on to hold senior in-house legal roles at Eurotunnel and Elf Aquitaine, advising on large-scale international financings and joint ventures. I have also worked extensively on infrastructure, energy and finance transactions across Europe, Africa and Asia.

Legal Specialties

My core practice areas include corporate finance, M&A, banking and structured finance, and project development, particularly in the infrastructure and energy sectors.

I have substantial experience advising on transactions involving multilateral development institutions, sovereign counterparties and complex regulatory frameworks across emerging and frontier markets.
