Martin is a commercial lawyer and experienced General Counsel with over 20 years’ experience negotiating complex commercial contracts. His background spans top law firms and senior in-house roles across some of the most demanding sectors in UK business, from FTSE 100 companies to disruptive start-ups.
He trained at DLA Piper and worked at SJ Berwin and Eversheds before becoming General Counsel of a nuclear company. Following an MBA at London Business School, he founded a private equity business focused on UK small cap acquisitions before returning to commercial legal practice.
Martin has closed contracts with values up to £1bn across technology, energy, infrastructure, construction and insurance. He advises across the full range of commercial contracts, bringing both legal precision and hands-on business management experience to every matter.
Martin runs half marathons and is learning Spanish to communicate better with the Spanish-speaking side of his family.
