I work with corporate clients of all sizes in both domestic and emerging markets, banks, investors, and directors in corporate transactions in an advisory capacity.
I act on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity capital markets transactions, and investments. I also have specialist expertise in company law, corporate governance, listed company compliance, and company secretarial matters.
That I understand their businesses, what makes a client tick, and provide exceptional client service.
Behind the lawyer
Since law school, I have been passionately involved in pro bono legal work, representing individuals wrongly convicted and victims of human rights abuses. I also love to spend time playing tennis and spend time abroad with my family in Spain.
I started my career at Baker McKenzie in Chicago as a corporate and securities lawyer, relocating shortly thereafter to Baker McKenzie in London where I focused on capital markets and corporate governance. In 2011, I moved in-house to become outside General Counsel for the first Georgian company to IPO and issue a Eurobond, leading an exchange offer with a premium listing on the LSE, and assuming the role of Head of Legal and Group Company Secretary for the new company, BGEO Group PLC, upon listing. In 2015, I assisted with the IPO and premium London listing of BGEO’s subsidiary, Georgia Healthcare Group PLC, and was appointed to the role of Head of Legal and Company Secretary of that entity as well.
