I advise clients on a wide range of commercial matters from contracts drafting and negotiation to IP and general advisory, regulatory and compliance work. I have an interest in helping clients grow their business through licensing or franchising their products and services.
“We have been very fortunate that Sarah’s worked with us for a number of months, handling a wide variety of (very often) urgent matters. Sarah’s done this with ease, positivity, pragmatism and with a solutions orientated mindset at all times. We are now at the signing stage and this wouldn’t have been possible without Sarah’s support, flexibility and expert knowledge. I cannot recommend Sarah and her work enough and will have no hesitation in engaging Sarah to work with us as soon as an opportunity arises”.
Louise Kennedy, General Counsel of Iris Capital.
Behind the lawyer
In 2011, I co-founded Busylizzy, the UK’s first family club which was successfully franchised in 2014 and which has since grown to a network of 20 clubs across the country. These days, I’m more of a silent partner, but the process of setting up and growing a business has provided me with a unique commercial insight when providing solutions to my clients’ questions.
I started my career at Berwin Leighton Paisner as an IP lawyer before joining as a consultant on their LOD programme in 2007. I then spent 10 years as a consultant at Halebury where I built up my own legal practice alongside running a business.
