I advise clients across a wide spectrum of employment matters. I advise on day-to-day employment law queries, as well as providing strategic support on long-term projects and corporate transactions. I draft and negotiate employment contracts, policies and procedures, and settlement agreements. I also conduct employment litigation before the employment tribunals and civil courts, and provide training to clients on employment law issues.
That I’m pragmatic, responsive, and never sit on the fence. Clients say that I explain complex issues in clear terms that are readily understandable.
Behind the lawyer
When not lawyering, I spend my time writing novels, falling over in ice skating lessons, and watching ice hockey games. I also volunteer at the Imperial War Museum.
Before Arbor, I was a partner and co-head of the Employment law department at Kennedys, working with a wide range of clients from multinational insurers and transport businesses to SMEs and start- ups.
After taking a career break to write a novel and complete a Master’s degree in creative writing, I consulted as a senior employment lawyer at Taylor Wessing, advising clients in the tech and life sciences sectors.
