We’re continuing our growth in 2022 here at Arbor Law as we welcome Nick Kelly to the team.
Nick has been running his own legal consultancy for the past eight years working for a range of energy clients as their in-house counsel, including Smart DCC, Warrego Energy and Atlas Copco. Prior to this, he was the General Counsel for Sindicatum Sustainable Resources, a leading developer, owner and operator of clean energy products worldwide
Nick said: “Joining Arbor enables me to expand the commercial and corporate work I do for my clients at this critical time for the energy sector. Energy has been slow to digitise. It could be seen as one of the last analogue industries in many ways, and I am especially interested in the divergence of energy, IT and outsourcing and the roll out of fibre optics. The recent IPCC report highlighted the urgency of climate change impact and the priority to reach net zero targets and invest sustainably and there is a huge amount of work to be done – I hope I can support my clients with this journey.”

We have welcomed a number of new senior lawyers to the Arbor Law team in the past six months. Commercial law and technology specialists Shaw Stapely and Nicky Greves joined at the end of 2021 as well as former senior partner for Dentons UK & Middle East Kenneth Shand, who is working with us as a Non-Executive Director helping on strategy and consultant career development.
